Edit: Becca liked the pictures, but was upset that I didn't leave anything funny/silly for everyone to read, so I'm editing!
Okay, so remember the cute Christmas pictures we were going to have done with all three of the kids? and remember how those didn't turn out because of Trenton and his crying, well we have the same scenerio here. Notice in the 1st picture my child is crying with arms in the air and then on the swing picture, well at 1st he was about 50 feet from the girls. He's mad in this picture because we made him scrunch over!! Crazy kids.
Easter was a grand affair! We were smart, (so we thought!) and took the kids to the Arlington Center Easter Egg hunt. It started at 1, we were there early, had the kids pictures taken at Orscheln's with a lamb, bunny, and stuffed calf. Let me tell you, that was the best part of Arlington Center!! The first hunt was for children 0 - 4 ...and their parents!! So Becca and I "tried" to help our children out! Notice the "tried" part!! I was elbowed and nearly knocked down, and those eggs were gobbled up in no time. By someone else's children. Not ours. Poor little Sara got one egg, yep you read right, ONE egg and a yoyo. Trenton did get 2 1/2 eggs and a yoyo, but IT WAS NOT worth me being elbowed for that!!!
The next group was ages 5 -7, Emalie and Ashlyn's ages. Well, it would have been okay, but they lined kids up on the sides too. So 3 lines of children running for the same eggs!!! Poor Ashlyn was knocked down and Emalie stopped to help her, so I think they each got an egg a piece. What a joke!!
So later that day, we went to Joni and Kenny's house and there, the kids had a BLAST and there were PLENTY of eggs for everyone and no elbowing parents!
The Easter Bunny did make an appearance at Arlington Center. Notice the nice pictures of Emalie and Trenton with him!? Where's Sara you might ask, we'll she was scared to death, hiding behind her mama's back! Talk about cute and funny!
Awww, what pretty and such sweet girls!
Yae, Sara found an egg!
So Easter Sunday, the kids had a blast hunting eggs at Grandma and Grandpa's. Their were plenty of eggs for all and they each found a "prize" egg! So the prizes were these neat little baskets filled with princess stuff for the girls and cars for Trenton and also, LOTS of chocolate! WELL see, the problem with the chocolate is, Grandma hid the baskets in her car for 2 days and heat + car + chocolate = DISASTER
So the chocolate was put in the fridge and there you have it!
Our Easter was a blast!
