.........Just some cute stories. Like Emalie, she loves to "excerlearn" and it is a really good method and she actually thinks it's semi-fun! Sometimes she likes to jump and jack, sometimes she likes to bend and touch her toes, all while learning and spelling her words correctly. We are all for this! So YAE Emalie! And Sara is now, and has been, learning her colors and is allowed to sing/speak her songs for the colors at the DINNER table. Now would my sister or I have EVER been allowed to behave in such a way??!?? I think NOT! But this is a precious Grandbaby, so of couse, it's great! (Come on you know it's true!) And it really is cute and we are all so proud of our Sara Bear. Next, there's Trenton, otherwise known as "Trn(t)" as that is how he spells his name. This kid proclaims tonight at the dinner table that....he does not throw fits! HaHa. And proceeds to be pretty adamant about the fact while his aunt is asking him some very serious questions. Nevertheless, grandma & grandpa's table is a pretty hoppin place to be at during supper time. So after supper, they all get ice cream cones and of course, who but Grandma would have Mint Chocolate Chip in her deep freeze? So 2 chose that kind and one plain chocolate (my kinda kiddo!). Then I guess there is a need to burn some calories and Sara and Trenton proceed to excercise. Trenton is running in place and doing quite well. Then Em shows them how to do Jump and Jacks and let me tell ya, that is one funny sight! Isn't it amazing how their faces just show EVERYTHING at the ripe age of 4? They are concentrating so hard to make their arms and legs move simitaneously that it just never really....happens! Too Cute!
Oh and Sara was going through the presents looking for her name, when she found one, she PROUDLY says, S A R A, points to herself w/ eyes big and round and says, and thats ME! She is just getting TOO big. So there you go, that is how we get through a nightly (most of the time) visit to Grandma and Grandpas house. There is always something fun and exciting happening and usually, we the adults, find something amusing to laugh about, just sometimes I forget to enjoy them for what they are, the most enjoyable amazing moments, and I manage to take them for granted (or they get lost in the hustle and bustle of "spankings!"). So I think my New Year's Revolution this year may just be, to just enjoy the time I have to spend with my children and to become one with the 3 most amazing children in the world. As that is what they are, mine and yours and yours and mine.
Love ya!
